• ACTIVATE Your New Mastercard Debit Card

Activate your new Mastercard debit card when it arrives in the mail. Your new PIN will arrive in your mailbox 1-2 days after you receive your debit card. You can use your new card beginning March 10.

 

 

• UPDATE Your Merchant Accounts

After March 10, update any accounts with your new debit card number to ensure any recurring payments billed to your debit card are not interrupted or missed.

 

 

• MOBILE DEPOSIT will be disabled

Mobile Deposit will be disabled at 2:00pm on March 7. It will resume on March 10 when you sign into your new online banking and mobile app.

 

 

• DISCONTINUE Your Old Debit Card

After March 10, destroy your old debit card.

 

 

• DOWNLOAD Your New Mobile Banking App

Delete your previous app and download the new mobile banking app called Home Bank & Trust Co. Mobile. It is available in the GOOGLE PLAY STORE for Android users and the APPLE STORE for iPhone/iPad users.

 

 

• LOG IN to Your New Online Account & Mobile App

Beginning March 10, use your existing online banking user name to log in to the website and the new app. Your temporary password will be the last 6 digits of your SSN/Tax ID. Once logged in, you can update your password.

Pay by tapping instead of swiping or inserting your debit card. Enjoy the convenience of contactless payment by tapping your debit card, smartphone, or wearable device on a compatible payment terminal. Quickly and securely complete a transaction.

 

 

• Tokenization Payments

This replaces sensitive payment information with a token. This token is a unique identifier that protects your financial information from fraud. When you make a purchase through Apple Pay or Google Pay, the token is used instead of your card number. This provides security and convenience.

 

 

• External Transfer of money between banks through Plaid

Plaid can be used to allow you to transfer money between banks.

 

 

• Mobile Deposit for Personal AND Business Accounts

Skip the trip to your Home Bank branch. Instead, deposit checks using the camera on your phone or tablet.

 

 

• Bill Pay for Personal AND Business Accounts

Schedule and pay your bills right from your computer, tablet or mobile phone.

 

 

• Set up Text and Email Alerts

Alerts can help you stay aware of your spending habits and account activity. Alerts can also help you avoid missing suspicious transactions or potential overdrafts. You can set dollar amount thresholds and parameters for each alert. Navigate to Settings/preferences, find Alert/Notification, and customize the alerts you wish to receive.

 

 

• Web Connect to Quicken & QuickBooks
